Fundraising

The Foundation fundraising strategy combines direct donation, bequests and sponsorship from the community & corporate sectors; and commercial provision of information & support particularly to health and allied professionals and the corporate sector.

MHFA Charitable Fund

The Foundation appointed Trust Company Australia Ltd as corporate trustee of the Mental Health Foundation Australia Charitable Fund. This Fund directs income from Foundation capital held in trust to fund the work of the Foundation - for its own programmes and support of collaborative ventures.

National Fundraising Council

The MHFA Fundraising Council leads the corporate & community fundraising appeal. This Council comprises leaders of industry, the media and finance sectors.

Donation & Sponsorship

Support the Foundation work by:

• direct donation or bequest sponsorship of specific projects
• participation in fundraising events eg. annual "Golden Opportunity Balls"
• promoting awareness of the Foundation's aims & work among friends & colleagues.
