Support Group for Men's Wellbeing

Men's Wellbeing group meets in Melbourne and in Echuca

 

2020 Melbourne Dates: 2nd Wednesday and Thursday of every month

13th and 14th May, 10th and 11th June, 8th and 9th July, 12th and 13th August, 9th and 10th September, 8th October and 14th October , 11th and 12th November, 9th and 10th December 2020.

2020 Echuca Dates: 3rd Monday of every month

18th May, 15th June, 20th July, 17th August, 21st September, 19th October, 16th November 2020.

Time (Melb and Echuca): 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Venue: Online until Further notice

About: 

Men can sometimes be reluctant to seek help when they feel overwhelmed. As a result, they may live with untreated and often undiagnosed mental health conditions that impact on the quality of their life.

Doing what you can to maintain your mental health wellbeing is important in overcoming issues. Finding the time to do regular physical activity, keeping up your social life, and making healthy lifestyle choices are a few examples of mental well-being. There are times when talking about your issues with someone else can be the assistance you require.

Facilitator:

Dale Cosgrave and Shelton Fernando

Dale Cosgrave is an experienced facilitator and spent over 20 years in the corporate sector working with people based all around the world. For the past 10 years he has been facilitating groups assisting people with addiction and mental health issues. He now runs his own consulting and coaching business with a core focus on enhancing people’s wellbeing.  He brings a calm and unconditional approach to any group that he facilitates. 

Shelton Fernando has been working professionally as a Facilitator, Coach and Learning Professional for the last 15 years. Shelton continually invests in his own self-development, which includes an Advanced Diploma of Group Facilitation. He understands the effects of mental health having been raised in home where mental Illness played a major role. His experience ignited a passion to create something positive and has led to the creation of groups which support to men to connect, grow and have fun.
