Virtual Wellness Workshops

9 October 2021

4:00pm - 5:15pm (AEDT)

At the MHFA, we take a holistic approach to mental health, taking into consideration physical, psychological, emotional and social health.

Hence, during National Mental Health Month 2021, we invite you to take a virtual wellness journey with us. We are bringing together three different wellness providers for this exciting event. Join us to learn how to manage your stress, to explore how yoga can be beneficial to your mental health, and to perhaps begin or continue your meditation journey!

Session 1 – Stress Release with Meagan Goodes

Session 2 – Yoga with Ritika Purang

Session 3 – Meditation with Joel Delaney

Joel Delaney    Meditation - Facilitation - Transformation - Intuitive Healing

Joel’s passion and purpose is to support and nurture those seeking to cultivate mind-body-spirit wellbeing and to live richly satisfying, joyous lives. As such, Joel holds space for the facilitation of positive inner change, working with spirit and the movement of energy to initiate internal healing. Joel believes that granting ourselves permission to thrive and live divinely spiritual daily lives is essential to experiencing the enduring inner peace and fulfilment we seek. Joel draws spirit in as he supports others to embrace unlimited versions of themselves, awakening to the choices and freedoms they inherently possess. Joel intuitively explores and guides the release of outworn patterns, attitudes and belief systems to invite and instil new, more supportive and nourishing possibilities for living and savouring life. More expansive, self-aware states of true being and presence are welcomed as homecomings.Focusing upon the power of the present moment and accessing the fullness of potential right now, Joel demystifies and celebrates intuitive, spirit-centered ways of living with a clear, relatable and accessible approach.

Meagan Goodes        Founder, Mindful Healing Toolkit

Meagan Goodes is a stress release specialist and teacher with over 16 years’ experience. She started her journey to help her son overcome his anxiety after his birth mother died at age 6. She has assisted many clients to improve their life and come off medication (with doctor’s assistance) by working on the underlying issues that caused their conditions. This in turn has improved client’s mental health, sleeping patterns, relationships, finances and dealing with stressful situations to name a few.

Ritika Purang      Yoga Instructor

Ritika is a Bhakti yogi and a product of several journeys. She has deep roots within the ancient Indian culture and she is constantly exploring and learning more about the yogic culture & lifestyle, Vedic wisdom, breathwork, energetic work and the mental space.

She has lived with depression and anxiety as a child & an adult which led her to the path that she is currently on. Ritika has studied communication, cultural studies and anthropology in my undergrad and masters. She prides herself with her unique gift to take some of the most complex philosophical concepts and distill them to their most profound essence. She believes ancient philosophy is fun, easy, innovative & fresh but at the same time deeply rooted in strong lifestyle practices that can truly transform lives for the better. Ritika is currently teaching yoga full time, working with the Mental Health Foundation Australia. She is also writer and a yogic lifestyle coach.
